Comedy party in the park. Should be London's biggest funny fest this year with five nights of top-class talent both homegrown and international. The line-ups include Doug Stanhope and Stephen Lynch from the US, as well as Jason Byrne, Rhona Cameron (pictured), Jo Brand, Russell Howard, Lucy Porter, Jeremy Hardy and Chris Addison as well as many more. Every night there's a different brilliant bill. The comedy will be shining, let's hope the sun is as well.

I agree with Jo on the whole, last night's Pimms Summerfest was expensive for what you got. Saying that Howard had me crying with laughter - belly laughs - Eldon was great as usual doing his Paul Hamilton alter ego though I'm not sure some of the crowd were following him. Lynch was fantastic - I'd not seen him before.
TIP for anyone going at the weekend, if you want a non-alcoholic drink visit the pimms bus as they seemed to be giving away water for free, which is nicer than the £2 canned soft drink at the other bars.
Puppetry of the penis; just awful. I wasn't remotely shocked. I left because there were two singularly unamusing individuals stringing a 4 minute gag out over 30 minutes. Appalling. Steven Lynch was however fantastic.
I went to pimms summerfest this evening and watch Lucy porter do the same routine I saw her do about 5 weeks ago but with less enthisaism. I watch half the audience including me leave from puppetry of the Penis which was very low on any jokes and was very dull to watch. Russel Howard was very funny and the new yorker on the guitar was good but on the whole defiently not worth the price of the ticket nor the splendour of the park. What a shame.
