Okonomiyaki (hearty pancakes with nuggets of veg, seafood, pork and other titbits) are cooked to order on hot-plates set into Abeno’s tables and counter. Don’t dismiss the desserts: own-made matcha ice-cream, rice dumpling pancake, whipped cream, aduki beans and maple syrup make a sensational combination.

I have grown up around the world which was full of unforgettable experiences and moments. This taught me that home is where the heart is having...
Easily THE WORST FOOD I have ever eaten in my life! Went there last month for my wife's birthday. We both love Japanese food - however this is not the Japanese fare you would expect... The pancakes cooked in front of you (which is what they specialise on) are the worst value for money/most tasteless food you will ever try - especially if you are after the delicate usual Japanese flavours! We had to cover them in mayonnaise and ketchup (which I don't even eat with chips!) to give them some flavour... Disgusting!!! Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy...
Waited quite some time without being aknowledged. Once we got our table the service was good but quite slow. The food was very very tasty but extremely expensive for what we got. We ordered a chicken dish (cooked on a hot plate on our table) and it cost £17.80. When the food came to the table I was shocked to see that it was 1 chicken breast, some beansprouts and a couple other bits of chopped veg. They were cooked in front of us in some butter and sauce & although they tasted good, and the chicken was organic, there is no way that it was worth that much. Apparently, organic chicken is hard to come by in London and that's why it's so expensive! It was a fun place, good novelty factor, but a total rip off for many of the dishes. Choose carefully.
