A new boutique brings Parisian chic to the East End
![]() |
Agnès Troublé opened her first boutique in an old Les Halles butcher’s shop in 1975. More than three decades later, Troublé’s Agnès b label has finally brought a little touch of oh-la-la to the East End. Her seventh UK store houses Agnès b’s quietly quirky men’s, women’s and children’s collections over two floors of an Old Spitalfields Market unit. Little glimpses of Troublé’s art, film and print projects are dotted throughout, alongside plants, books and portfolios, French punk CDs and that most necessary of accessories, the complementary condom.
Best buy Striped T-shirt, £75.
